A detailed fractal generation program!
To generate a standard mandelbrot fractal, use the following settings:
Quality:[a number, usually from 1-3]
The zoom specifies how zoomed in the image is. The higher the number, the more the zoom. Giving a zoom of 0 will error the program, and the standard zoom is 1.
The x offset specifies the x value to center the image on.
The y offset specifies the y value to center the image on.
The quality specifies how detailed the image should be. The higher the quality number, the longer it will take to render, however, with higher numbers the resulting image is more accurate and has a larger color scheme. The quality can range from 1-255
The imaginary part specifies what imaginary number to add to the function of the Julia sets. The imaginary part is not currently used in rendering the Mandelbrot set.
The real part specifies what real number to add to the function of the Julia sets. The real part is not currently used in rendering the Mandelbrot set.
That's it! Have fun rendering beautiful pictures.
- Initial Release
I plan to incorporate the imaginary and real parts into the Mandelbrot set as well as have an option for saving a fractal and returning to the title screen.
