Here's my first completed game, made in 3 days. It's sort of a clone of Robotron but uses text graphics. Robotron is the first twin stick shooter ever made and regarded by nearly everyone as the best ever made. Mine is nowhere near as good, but it does keep the risk-reward gameplay alive that's missing from newer games like Geometry Wars.
How to Play[]
Push start on title screen to begin game. Use D-PAD to move and A, B, X, and Y buttons to shoot (2nd stick).
There are 3 enemies that can be destroyed and killing them will complete a level. Pick up diamonds to increase your score (this is essential for high scoring). You get a bonus for completing a level before the bonus timer runs out.
Gray enemies cannot be destroyed and don't seek you out to kill you. Instead, they wander around and destroy diamonds.
You earn extra lives by clearing point goals. The game ends when you lose all lives.
